Vintage MAMA BEAR armchair designed by Hans Wegner model AP28 produced 1954 by Ap Stolen in teak.

A stunning chair that is among the most desired of Hans Wegner's chairs and today much rarer than the more popular PAPA BEAR!

This wide wing armchair embodies all aspects of Wegner's eye for lines and emphasis on comfort.
The chair's wide fanned back allows you to sit in a number of ways and always be supported and comfortable

A unique and wonderful chair with lots of character and style.

The chair is inew upholsterd in a mottled grey fabric produced by Danish Artweaving in 100% new Zealand wool.
The colour of the fabric was chosen to compliment the rich aged teak arm rests.

Condition: Teak arms with wonderful patina and oiled finish. Good strong frame and legs.
