Hans J Wegner vintage teak shell chair with beech frame produced by Fritz Hansen 1949 model FH1936

A stunning chair that is sculpture and comfortable chair.

The use of the laminated teak ply-wood for the shells was Wegner's only ventury into using laminated wood at the request of Frtiz Hansen.
The series he designed for Fritz hansen comprises of a chair, a dining table, a bench and coffee table only produced by Fritz Hansen
Wegner was not a fan and he soon abandoned the use of laminate in favour of his preferred material - solid timber

The delivery is to cerb-side meaning that the delivery will NOT be unpacekd or installed in your home.

It is YOUR responsibility to un-pack the items once the crate has been delivered.

Delivery Schedule

We deliver your order for furniture once we have contacted you and arranged a delivery day and time.

Delivery of furniture and large items are carried out in our own vehicle and all items will be securely blanketed and strapped down during transport

For small items that are sent by courier DPD or PARCELFORCE, we will normally send your order to you in 3 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
