Vintage beech framed CHINA chair with red leather seat pad designed by Hans Wegner and produced 1945 by Fritz Hansen model FH1783

A lovely and rare edition of Hans Wegner's 'China' series with all original frame and woven papercord seats and recent red leather pad.
The China chair is part of the iconic series of chairs which culminated in the famous Wishbone chair.

Originally design based off of Chinese throne chair, the FH1783 China chair features a lovely sculpturally curved back rest, wide seat with padded cushion protecting the cord and adding another layer of comfort to an already impressively comfortable chair.

Condition: Very good with lovely patina and original papercord.
The chair is stamped to the seat underside with Fritz Hansen Logo.

The delivery is to cerb-side meaning that the delivery will NOT be unpacekd or installed in your home.

Delivery of furniture and large items are carried out in our own vehicle and all items will be securely blanketed and strapped down during transport

For small items that are sent by courier DPD or PARCELFORCE, we will normally send your order to you in 3 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
