Early Hans J Wegner design bench sofa with teak frame and original striped upholstery produced by cabinet maker Johannes Hansen 1949 model JH555.
The bench is very rare with teak frame in contrast to most other which have oak frames.

The vintage teak frame is in superb condition with impressive patina.

The original striped wool upholstery does show signs of age and wear but we are happy to discuss re-upholstery in any material that suits your home.

The American bench, designed 1949 by Hans wegner, is considered one of Wegner's master pieces due to it's minimalist design and elegance.

Frame is bearing makers mark under the seat.

To enable us to get a price quote for your specific enquiry please email us with your full address and contact details.
Our shipping partner DSV will then base the cost of shipping + delivery to your home address.

The delivery is to cerb-side meaning that the delivery will NOT be unpacekd or installed in your home.

It is YOUR responsibility to un-pack the items once the crate has been delivered.

Delivery Schedule

We deliver your order for furniture once we have contacted you and arranged a delivery day and time.

Delivery of furniture and large items are carried out in our own vehicle and all items will be securely blanketed and strapped down during transport

For small items that are sent by courier DPD or PARCELFORCE, we will normally send your order to you in 3 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
