Model 121 'Paperknife' armchair in vintage teak designed in 1955 by Kai Kristiansen and produced by Magnus Oleson.
The 'Paperknife' name originates from the knife-like shape of the arms, gently curved and thin giving the chair a light and inviting appearance.
This stunning vintage armchair features a solid teak frame and original sprung cushions with new upholstered covers. The frame is in excellent condition after a light refurbishment, finished with teak oil to nourish and protect the wood and maintain the warm vintage patina.
The cushions feature new boucle upholstery, Tiree from Bute, Scotland. The bold mustard colour and textured finish of the cushions is perfectly complimented by the darker rich tones of the vinatge teak frame. During the reupholstery process, the sprung cushions have had new foam and dacron added, to provide a comfortable and supportive seat.
A fantastic addition to your living room or office, adding some midcentury warmth and flair to your home.
