4 Bay vintage teak FM system designed in 1952 by Kai Kristiansen and produced by Feldeballes Mobelfabrik.
Designed in 1952 by Kai Kristiansen, the FM System features a sleek and minimalist appearance, with practical modular design allowing for great customisation of the system.
Each component in the system measures a standard 86cm wide, meaning that once the wall-rains are mounted, cabinets and shelves can be easily moved around to find the perfect orientation for your space!
Whilst identical in dimensions, each of the 4 large base cabinets have unique functions:
-This first cabinet opens with 2 cupboard doors to reveal internal shelving, with record / magazine dividers built in.
-The second cabinet contains a chest of 4 equally sized drawers, providing some enclosed organisation within the system.
-The third cabinet features a lift up top and opening doors at the front, designed to take a record player with easy access to the top. The underside features further storage, alongside a light box allowing you to easily illuminate your record player.
-The last cabinet features sliding tambour doors, effortlessly sliding open to reveal dividers ideal for storing records, alongside a larger space with an adjustable shelf - This cabinet also features a built in light box which provided a soft backlight to illuminate your record payer.
Above this, the system features 3 further sliding door cabinets (2 x Glass + 1 x timber), a pair of light box shelves, as well as a selection of regular display shelves.
The lights within the base cabinet and light box shelves have been replaces with LED strips which provide a brighter light and are much more energy efficient than the original lightbulbs.
The system can also be set up with 4 large teak veneer back panels which can be placed behind the wall mounted uprights, providing the system a fully panelled wall design.
A fantastic addition to the modern home, adding some gorgeous midcentury design and practicality. Ideal for use as a media unit in the living room, or even as extra storage / display in a spacious hallway.

The system is in very good condition throughout after a gentle clean and restoration, finished with teak oil to nourish and protect the wood.

The delivery is to cerb-side meaning that the delivery will NOT be unpacekd or installed in your home.
It is YOUR responsibility to un-pack the items once the crate has been delivered.
Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order for furniture once we have contacted you and arranged a delivery day and time.
Delivery of furniture and large items are carried out in our own vehicle and all items will be securely blanketed and strapped down during transport
For small items that are sent by courier DPD or PARCELFORCE, we will normally send your order to you in 3 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
