A timeless classic offering superior comfort.

This chair is an early production, indicated by the disc from France & Daverkosen.
The name change in 1956 to France & Son came about as Inger Daverkosen signed her share over to Charles Fernley France who in return resigned from the LAMA mattress company to concentrate on France & son.

The chair is in superb condition with foam cushions upholstered in blue check woollen fabric. The cushions are fully upholstered and can be used on both side.
Covers are zipped so easy to remove or replace should you wish to change its appearance.

The unique construction of the Spade chair means it is possible to completely dismantle and flat pack it once the 2 screws from under the front seat support have been removed.
Hidden fittings allow the frame to slot apart and flat-pack. A feature which France & Daverkosen furniture is renowned for.
