Rare vintage teak dining table on swung legs with 2 extra leaves designed by Finn Juhl and produced by Master Cabinetmaker Niels Vodder (not marked) 1954
This rare table has many of the hallmarks which have made Finn Juhl among the most collected of Danish designers, from it's swung legs to the raised edge and overall impressive size.
The table measures 130cm in diameter - 51 inch and is spacious for the 4 it will seat un-extended.
Add one or both the leaves to extend the table, to seat 6 or 8 diners in comfort.
The table has been gently cleaned and restored, finished with teak oil to nourih and protect the rich vintage timber. The table does show some small signs of previous restoration too, but maintains a lovely warm patina throughout.
The significant rarity of this dining table is due to the small amounts originally produced by Niels Vodder. Working out of a small workshop with only a small team to assist, Vodder could not compete with the production numbers of other manufacturers at this time which is one factor that makes his work so special, alongside his expert use of materials and high quality craftsmanship.

The table is fantastic conditon after a gentle clean and refinish and shows incredible patina throughout. - Some small marks remain, consistant with age and use.

The delivery is to cerb-side meaning that the delivery will NOT be unpacekd or installed in your home.
It is YOUR responsibility to un-pack the items once the crate has been delivered.
Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order for furniture once we have contacted you and arranged a delivery day and time.
Delivery of furniture and large items are carried out in our own vehicle and all items will be securely blanketed and strapped down during transport
For small items that are sent by courier DPD or PARCELFORCE, we will normally send your order to you in 3 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
