This stunning vintage teak dining table features intelligent design, superb practicality and classic midcentury styling. Designed in 1951 by Danish architects Hvidt & Molgaard, this gateleg dining table is a true midcentury icon.

The table is entirely flexible in use, ideal for any space. It can be used with both leaves donw, tucked out the way as a console table, used as a desk / compact dining table with one leaf raised, or as a dining table with both leaves extened. It could also be used as a display table in a large entrance hallway.

The rich vintage teak construction shows incredible, warm patina throughout, perfectly complimented by the lighter tones of the brass hardware in the hinges and ball joints beneath the table top.

To extend the dining table with one or both of the leaves, simply lift up the leaf and slide the legs into place.

The dining table is an excellent choice, whether in a large open hallway as a console / display table or used practically as a compact dining table.

A fantastic choice for the modern home, adding some gorgeous midcentury charm and character.
