Rare vintage chandelier with mother of pearl discs suspended in rows from central ceiling fixture designed by Verner Panton and produced 1964 by LUBER switzerland model 4DM. A stunning rarity that panton designed to mesmerise or make you want to party!
The light consists of a large central ceiling mount in the form of a cross which is secured and then hidden when the main ceiling plate is fitted onto it.
The diameter of the plate is 22 inch / 56cm with a drop of 43 inch / 110cm allowing the light to be used in a stairway hall, over a dining table or where you want a design impact like no other!
From the ceiling plate hang stainless steel rings (chains) with individual seashell discs connected together to form long gradient rows which obscure the light source.
Central to the light is the single bulb fitting which, when turned on playfully reflects and illuminates through the discs.
The light is a vintage edition bought in 1965 / 1966 by the previous owner and is rarely for sale so this is a unique opportunity to acquire an original.

For small items that are sent by courier DPD or PARCELFORCE, we will normally send your order to you in 3 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
