Vintage midcentury design 2½ seater sofa in bolt volt green upholstery PAPA bear style teak armrests, made by Danish cabinetmaker in the 1950s.
This stunning mid-century design sofa in original black and vibrant green upholstery is a real statement piece. The sofa is FULL of character; the cylindrical, tapering teak legs give the sofa a light and floating look, and the teak armrests take inspiration from Hans Wegners classic ' Papa Bear Chair (
AP19) '
The backrest has a lovley curve, swooping in the centre and being slightly dipped in the centre, highlighted by the green upholstery. The armrests are wide and comfortable - upholstered up until the edge, finishing with characteful teak Hans Wegner like 'paws'.
The sprung seat frame is superbly comfortable with its bench-like 2½ seat configuration allowing for comfortable seating at any point along the seat. The backrest offers great support and promotes good posture with its sprung construction.
The frame is sturdy and strong and shows classic Danish Cabinetmaker construction with use of solid timber and expert craftsmanship following the traditional Danish values of function, simplicity and elegance.

Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order for furniture once we have contacted you and arranged a delivery day and time.
Delivery of furniture and large items are carried out in our own vehicle and all items will be securely blanketed and strapped down during transport
For small items that are sent by courier DPD or PARCELFORCE, we will normally send your order to you in 3 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
