A rare vintage extendable dining table in teak designed by Kai Kristiansen and produced by Fritz Hansen in 1958 model FH4670.
This stunning dining table has elegant leaves which are stored underneath the table top is clever bays. Each leaf can be added at the end and locks to the drawn out supperts with a rotating disc.
A locating peg secures the leaf onto the runner and ensures it can not move once the disc is rotated againts the runner.
This table comfortably seats 6 before it is extended with one or both the leaves.
When fully extended table will comfortably seat 8 possibly 10.
The overall condition of the table in fantastic with impressive patina and warmth. The gently refurbishment carried out in our workshop has brought out this natural patina.
The finished oil helps to nourish to wood.
The makers mark is clearly visible on the underside.
