Vintage PLEXUS armchair in rosewood with rattan cane sides and back designed by Illum Wikkelso and produced by C. F Christiansen Silkeborg.
The PLEXUS armchair is elegantly simple in design - A rich vintage rosewood frame with each arm and the back fitted with a gently contrasting rattan.
The entire frame can be easily dismantled with a flat head screwdriver, which allows for easy transportation.
The frames themselves can also be attached together, with 2 armchairs merging to form a compact 2 seater sofa. The PLEXUS range was Wikkelso's answer to other modular system of the time, such as the Modus and Moduline ranges. The range also included neat coffee tables that could be placed between 2 of the armchairs. The modular design allows the chairs to be easily moved around and adapted depending on the occasion.
The chair features 2 loose upholstered cushions in a complimentary woven green colour. The cushions are soft, yet supportive and provide you with a comfortable seat.

Our shipping partner DSV will then base the cost of shipping + delivery to your home address.
The delivery is to cerb-side meaning that the delivery will NOT be unpacekd or installed in your home.
It is YOUR responsibility to un-pack the items once the crate has been delivered.
Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order for furniture once we have contacted you and arranged a delivery day and time.
Delivery of furniture and large items are carried out in our own vehicle and all items will be securely blanketed and strapped down during transport
For small items that are sent by courier DPD or PARCELFORCE, we will normally send your order to you in 3 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
