Vintage oak frame 2 seat sofa with teak inset armrests designed by Edvard Kindt-larsen and produced 1954 by France & Daverkosen model FD117.
A rare sofa in beautiful tan leather upholstery.
A simple yet very stylish design which provides comfortable seating and back support with its sprung cushions.
The sprung cushions have been re-furbished and wrapped with new foam and are upholstered in soft caramel colour leather which compliments the rich patina on the oak frame.
It makes for a fine addition to a living room as a centre piece or bedroom where it's perfect proportions can make the best of any space.
The Model was presented at the 10th triennale in Milan in 1954 and awarded with Díplome d'honneur and "Good design Award" at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, 1955.
