Classic 3 seater curved frame kidney sofa produced in the 1950s by Danish Cabinetmaker.
This stylish and compact frame sofa features elegant design and traditional cabinetmaker construction techniques. The sofa features a solid timber skeleton to ensure strength and durability, with sprung seat and backrest for excellent support and comfort.
The whole sofa is built with traditional materials, like quilted cotton wadding & wood shavings and with hand stitched fitted pullman springs.
The sofa offers superb comfortable seating as the use of pullman springs in the seat ensures long-lasting comfort and durability over webbing or other seating support types.
The sofa is in fantastic condition throughout, with an attractive floral upholstery and complimentary gold piping throughout. The sofa features a fabric fringe around the base, behind which the sofa sits on brass capped legs that add to the midcentury flair of the vintage sofa.
A great sofa that can be the centre piece of your room or fitting neatly into a bay window space. This kidney sofa is a real show stopper, looking fantastic from all angles with its chic and curvaceous design!
Whilst the floral pattern upholstery is in fantastic condition, we are more than happy to look at fabric options to make this sofa truly yours. Labour costs for the re-upholstery for this sofa would be an estimated £800-1,000 + VAT (plus cost of fabric).
