Beech circular dining table on drum base with centrally stored leaf designed by Per Hånsbæk and produced by Skovby - Model SM33.
The model SM33, or the Butterfly table as it's also known, is one of Skovby's most iconic designs. The table features a neat and minimalist design, consisting of a round table top sat upon a cylindrical, drum base
The dining table is equipped with a unique extension system. By turning the turntable under the tabletop, the three leaves move synchronously to a position that makes room for the extension leaves in the base. When light pressure is applied the extension, the leaves rise out of the base by means of a spring placed under the triangle in the middle of the table. The leaves are then unfolded and secured in place by winding the table top back into place.
This system allows you to extend from a comfortable 4/6 seater table to comfortably accommodate up to 9. The ease of the mechanism makes this design an excellent space saver and a great practical solution for the modern kitchen diner.
The model SM33 is still produced by Skovby today, with retail prices starting from £2,000.

The delivery is to cerb-side meaning that the delivery will NOT be unpacekd or installed in your home.
It is YOUR responsibility to un-pack the items once the crate has been delivered.
Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order for furniture once we have contacted you and arranged a delivery day and time.
Delivery of furniture and large items are carried out in our own vehicle and all items will be securely blanketed and strapped down during transport
For small items that are sent by courier DPD or PARCELFORCE, we will normally send your order to you in 3 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
