Stylish vintage teak coffee table with rectangular top that has raised sides and magazine shelf suspended between the legs. Designed by Svend Aage Eriksen and Made in 1960s by Glostrup Mobelfabrik.
This large but perfectly proportioned coffee table is perfect for use in front of your sofa where it can add easy access to magazines and books due to the shelf which is suspended between the legs.
The table top has long sides which have gently raised edges meaning that items can not be pushed off accidentally. This is a feature design that runs across the range of tables made by Glostrup.
The table can easily be dismantled for flat packed transport and only requires a allen key and flat head screw driver to dismantle it.
PS!
While the internet claims this design to be by Grete Jalk, it was designed by Svend Aage Eriksen, who is the designer behind most furniture that was produced by Glostrup
The Grete Jalk table designed for and made by Poul Jeppesen has a larger (160cm long) table top but also no cross grain end piece, making it seem to have a unbroken timber top.REF CT999
