Rare armchair designed 1953 by Brockman Petersen styled after the TONKA TOYS dumper truck and thus named the TIPPER TRUCK chair and produced by master cabinet maker Louis G Thiersen
Teak frame with bucket seat in yellow colour upholstery that has a herring bone pattern and a loose seat cushion which is fully upholstered so that it can be used on both sides.
A chair which is very comfortable to sit in but also sculptural to look at.
The Tipper truck inspiration is clear to see in the form the seat bucket has to the supporting teak frame.Condition.
Very good with some minor signs of use on the upholstery.
