The ottoman is constructed with a solid pine frame over which the seat is built up with springs, wadding and at last the upholstery.
This method is traditional and means that ONLY the upholstery needs replacing to transform this to fit your colour scheme & home.
The seat can be lifted up to reveal the shallow storage space under it where you could store bedding should you wish to make it to a bed.
