Vintage green kidney sofa with oak legs & carved arms
Vintage 1940s 3-seater kidney sofa with green fabric upholstery and oak legs.
This shapely settee would work brilliantly in a bay window. Or perhaps it would be best appreciated in the middle of a room so it could be viewed from all angles. The medium height of the back means that it is ideal to divide a room.
The sofa stands on 5 oak legs, with one centre leg to ensure stability, and features carved arms.
The settee offers low but excellently roomy and supportive seating. The shape of the seat ensures good lower back support and a firm seat is created by the springs. The coil springs push against the seat so it has gentle curves and will not sag.
Condition: Very good with minor signs of age and use.
Oak legs are strong and stable.
