Flip-flap dining table in rosewood | Chrome legs
Vintage rosewood dining table with self-stored leaves and chromed steel base.
This wonderful designed dining table comfortably seats 4 / 6 before it is extended by the clever system of leaves.
4 leaves pull from under the table top and they in turn fold to form a large ring around the main top thus allowing 8 to be seated around it.
This clever design was created by Dyrlund SMith and is known by 2 names, FLIP-FLAP or LOTUS.
The table is firmly supported by the Chromed steel legs which are mirrored in the chromed hinges on the leaves.
All the chrome is in excellent condition with no flaking or rust present.
The table has been restored back to its original oiled finish after having been wrongly french polished.
The wood grain is very impressive and can now be appreciated.
