Vintage 1950s Danish sofa-bed settee by Horsens. Restoration project.
The sofa-bed is upholstered in oatmeal colour fabric and has contrasting teak armrests & legs.
To turn the settee into a bed, simply lift the front of the seat up, which will lay the back rest flat at the same time.
A 'click' will release the mechanism that allows the seat to be laid flat again.
The sofa offers full length sleeping space when the bed is set out.
Botht the seat & back are sprung and underneath the seat is a storage area for blankets & cushions
Condition.Good with signs of age & use.
The frame is in good condition with the fabric ready to be reupholstered.
Frame dismantles for re-upholstery.
This sofa is sold as a restoration project and our upholsterer, Tom, will be happy to undertake the work as he has 30+ years experience and is well versed in Danish upholstery.
