Single Arne Jacobsend design iconic Ant chair made using bent ply-wood and rosewood.
An amazing Brazilian rosewood chair that makes for a lovely desk or side chair.
The chair was give it's name due to it's ant body-like shape and is among some of the most recognised Danish design chairs that Jacobsen created.
The chair was originally designed for the canteen of a Danish pharmaceutical company, Novo Nordisk.
It features a minimalist frame & seat which despite its look is supportive & comfortable.
The chair has nickle-plated legs with rubber foot caps.
As an earlier production, it features the metal cover instead of the plastic that would be used later on.
Conditon. Excellent with oiled finish.
Little to no signs of use present.
Marked to metal cup with makers initials.
