Vintage organic/harp shaped Danish teak mirror
Vintage harp shaped Danish teak mirror.
The sculptural shape of the mirror is very typical of the modernist aesthetic of the mid-twentieth century and would look great in a room with other vintage pieces from the 1950s and 60s in whatever room of the house.
The mirror's frame is made up of four pieces of solid teak, each of which has a wonderful grain and patina. The four pieces that make up the frame are joined together by a tongue and grove joint as well as glue.
The mirror hangs securely from a metal loop.
Condition: Very good, the teak frame has little to no age related wear, the only thing to note is that the joints have moved in the past (atmospheric change), they have since been re-glued.
