Verner panton floor lamp | Panthella
Stylish Danish design floor lamp with white acrylig dome designed by Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen 1969.
This floor lamp has become an icon of Danish lighting and is still in production today by Louis Poulsen how ever this version of the lamp is VERY special.
The light was originally intended to increase in strength of light every time you press the on button on the base until reaching its maximum at 160W.
The bulb with the 3 phases / elements was discontinued by philips in 1986 forcing a design change upoin the lamp. Louis Poulsen moved the on button from the base to the cord.
The special feature of this lamp is that is STILL has the original bulb and that ALL phases / elements are working!
