Oak dining suite - ALBATROS by ERIK OLE JORGENSEN

Vintage dining suite of table with 6 chairs all made using unique 'ships oak' - Erik Ole Jorgensen design for FDB 1968

This elegant dining set has been produced using the unique timbers called 'ships oak' as these timbers have small knots showing.
These are endearingly referred to as 'cats paw prints' and you can see these across several areas of the table and chair frames.

The simple and minimalist design is contrasted by the hardy and strong oak timbers.

All the chairs have been re-upholstered with new foam fitted to the seat pan first, followed by a high quality black leather that is double thickness to normal upholstery leathers.
This ensures a very hardy and durable seat that will last for many many years.

The chairs and the table are both stamped with makers logo and production dates to the underside of their frames.
