An elegantly shaped Danish mirror designed by Kai Kristiansen for Aksel Kjersgaard in the 1960s.
The subtly shaped rosewood frame has been created by four sections of sculpted solid rosewood.
Each rosewood section contains two curves un-parallel to each other; the inner curve is much more dramatic than the outer. The effect of this, appearing simple, detail is a feeling of quality and understated beauty.
Condition: Very good. The rosewood retains its deep richness and there is minimal age related wear. The joints although of highest quality in terms of construction techniques have opened up a little, this may have happened due to the frame being placed above a heat source sometime within its life time. The mirror is blemish free although contains two scratches, approximately 5 inch / 13cm and 2 mm respectively.
Fully branded/stamped to the back.
