Rare teak cabinet | Illum Wikkelsø design
Stunning 1950s Danish designed sideboard with 3 sliding doors and oak legs.
This very stylish cabinet offers lots of storage in the spacious cabinet.
The sliding doors are great as you can access the items inside it without the need to consider space in the room for doors.
Behind the doors are beech lined compartments with with shelves on the left and right while the central compartment has several shallow drawers.
The drawers are intended for cutlery but their use is your choice.
The left and right doors have a unique handle which allows the doors to be slid along the track and you wont trap your fingers.
The middle door has inset handles and a unique handle in the door edge so you can grip that when the door is behind the right door.
The cabinet stands on oak legs with a unique design of 8 legs braced with stylish cross bars.
Condition. Spectacular patina with oiled finish.
Some marks on beech internal shelves and floors.
The cabinet retains part of the original Søren Willadsen label in blue & yellow
