Ib kofod Larsen vintage Seal chairs - Pair
A stunning design created by Ib Kofod larsen in 1957 as a variant to his 'Elizabeth' chair.
Both chairs are upholstered in black leather and have oak frames that show even patina and finish.
Superbly comfortable chair with the loose seat cushion which is sprung.
The bucket design of the whole seat is nestled into the frame and combinet with the seat cushion to create a wonderfully comfortable seating experience.
A comfortable chair that is also a piece of art with is sharply angled arms and gently curved back rest so be ready for the chair to be admired by all who visit!
Condition. Excellent with beautiful black leather and oil finished oak frame.
some signs of age and previous use are present but minimal.

Provenance: Previous owner was Søren Georg Jensen, son of famous Danish silversmith Georg Jensen and himself a accomplished artist and silversmith.
He was the artistic director of George Jensen from 1962 to 1964. He also designed many pieces of furniture for KUBUS.
