Arne Hovmand Olsen teak armchair
Stunning teak armchair with sprung and buttoned cushions designed in 1954 and rescued from a dusty attic.
Designer: Arne Hovmand Olsen - Producer: Mogens Kold - Year of design: 1954 - Model 225
The quality seat and back cushions are fully upholstered in rich tan leather and each feature 4 buttons on both sides.
A very stylish, sculptural, armchair with revealed construction details on the frame. The organic curvature of the carved solid-wood arms are wonderfully tactile and give great support to the sitter.
The sprung cushions too offer very good seating comfort and, as well as the leather covering them, are in excellent condition.
Condition: Extremely good. Wonderful patina to oil finished frames and only minor signs of use. 4 buttons on one of the back rest cushions differ in colour to all the other buttons.
Both chairs are stamped with maker's logo under seat.
