Hans Wegner armchair and with matching foot stool.
Both upholstered in bright blue HALLINGDAL fabric which contrasts the oiled oak frame.
This armchair has the TEAK arms and oak frame which is a version that is increasingly rare.
The use of 2 woods is common on Hans Wegner's designs from the 1950s and works to great effect.
The chair gets it's name from the distinctly CIGAR shaped armrests.
All the cushions are the original sprung cushions, fully upholstered so they can all be used on both sides.
The upholstery is HALLINGDAL from KVADRAT, Denmark
Designed by Nanna Ditzel in 1965 and made of 70% wool / 30% viscose
Condition: Impressive with lovely patina.
Frames clearly marked with makers and designers names.
