Erik Kirkegaard bench in teak model 56
Rare 2 seat bench in teak with original wool upholstered seat and back in 'savak' wool.
Fabric still available here, Gabriel website
This stunning midcentury teak framed bench seat is rare to find as it was originally designed to only be an armchair.
A small production run of benches were made but quickly dropped in favour of the chair.
The seat is very elegant and ideal to use in a garden room, as converstion seating in a lounge or as hall seat.
This is due to the slender design which is not very deep front to back and thus will not take up too much valuable space.
Condition: The teak frames are in superb condition with lovely patina and oiled finish.
Each bench is stamped under the seat with makers logo.
