Elegant mid-twentieth century Danish oak and teak single bed
The minimalist design of this vintage bed dating from circa. 1957 incorporates both teak and oak.
The legs which extend all the way to the top and brace the head and footboard are solid oak. Brass pins are fitted into the solid oak legs and hold the teak veneered head and foot boards in place.
The footboard is veneered in rich teak on both sides and along the edge although the headboard is not finished on the back -It is presumed that the bed is pushed up to the wall.
The bed frame can be completely dismantled in minutes for safe and easy transportation.
A lovely single bed with beech slats onto which the mattress rests.
The bed is supplied without mattress but you can get a quote from our good friends at STADDONS BEDS, Nottingham
Condition: Very good, clean, with a beautiful patina and even oiled finish. The oak is not finished with oil.
