Lovely teak lounge table with large chequer pattern top and magazine shelf.
A practical magazine shelf is suspended between the legs but this shelf if held in place by the legs alone.
The legs go through the shelf and are turned solid teak with a ridge the shelf sits on.
The magazine shelf has ends wrapped with split cane, typical for the early 1950s, giving the shelf a see through lighter appearance.
The table legs are screw fitted into the table top and remove so the table can be flat packed for easy transport.
Condition: Fantastic patina with minor sign of use consummate with age. Teak oil finish enhances the patina and nourishes the wood.
All cane without breaks or damage.
