Bramin teak dining suite
Vintage rectangular dining table with 8 matching chairs all designed by Henry W. Klein 1964
This stunning dining table and matching chairs are all by the same designer / company and a real gem of Danish classic design.
The table is extendable from its smallest size by pulling then ends apart which reveals a single leaf stored in the middle.
The table is a very comfortable 8 seater when the leaf is added and the table remains very sturdy.
The ends simply push back together and pins in the leaf and top lock it all solidly together.
The set of 8 chairs, 6 side chairs and 2 carver chairs, all have woven paper cord seat. 3 of the chairs have new paper cord.
The chairs are very comfortable and their wider seats make them great for long dinner parties.
A lovely design detail are the 3 discs inset on all corners of both the table and chairs.
The carver chairs have these also on the front of the arms.
A unique detail special to this whole series.
Condition. Impeccable with stunning deep patina.
1 chair was added to the set at a later stage. It is slightly darker in the patina but otherwise identical.
The table legs remove / unscrew for easy transport.
