Mid-20th Century Danish rosewood armchair by Erik Wørtz for Sorø Møbler, 1966
Elegant mid-twentieth century armchair with solid rosewood frame and biscuit coloured upholstery.
Designer: Erik Wørtz - Producer: Sorø Møbler - Year of design: 1966
The chair's generously wide seat, curved and padded back rest and seat and tactile armrests offer excellent comfort -perfect for those longer dinner parties.
Being comfortable and restrained in design, the chair is ideal for use in a wide variety of rooms -the dining room, library, study, bedroom etc
Condition: Excellent. The rosewood frame has been completely refurbished -disassembled, cleaned, reassembled/glued and finished with oil which feeds and helps to enhance the patina of the wood. The upholstery is more contemporary and shows little to no signs of use.
