Midcentury Danish chest of drawers in oiled teak with bowfront and 6 drawers. Danish made ca 1960

Lovely detailed tall chest of teak drawers where the front is gently bowed and the drawers are all equal depth.
The top drawer is fitted with lock which is in excellent working order,

All the drawer faces have been cut from the same piece of wood so the wood grain pattern continues through each drawer face from top to bottom drawer.

The 6 drawers have all got a pair of solid teak handles inset into each drawer face.
The handles have the appearance of a large HAPPY smile and add to the chests stylish appearance.

The drawers are all made using solid pine for the sides and birch plywood for the bottoms. The drawers all run smoothely and the locking top drawer is in excellent working order.
The key is supplied.

The chest is elevated of the floor with solid teak tapering legs fitted to the base with screw mounts into hidden bolts so can be removed.

Condition: Good with lovely patina and oiled finish. Minor signs of age related wear. Very clean and odour free
