Teak dining suite comprising 6 chairs with new woven paper cord and extending table with single self stored leaf.
The table has undergone complete restoration bringing the chairs back to their full glory after years with fabric upholstered seats which was un-original.
The chairs have been carefully cleaned and brought back to their original oiled finish and re-strung with papercord. This makes the chairs good for another 30 - 40 years of enjoyment.
The table has also been cleaned back and brought to the original oiled finish. This finish gives you the wonderful patina of the wood and is easy to maintain.
The signature design on this suite is the 3 inset rosewood discs which you will find on the corners of the chairs and the table.
The table extends with a single leaf stored inside the top and this makes the table seat 10 comfortably.
The table legs can be removed for transport.

This excellent size dining table seats 6 comfortable before the leaves are taken in to use. Each leaf add an additional 2 seats so the table will end seating 10 when fully extended.
Once the table is fully extended a center support leg holds the span and stops it sagging in the middle.
The table is made of solid light oak block wood which gives the table a unique rustique look. The natural finish and waxed polish in something that will continue to add colour to the wood over many years.
The table is in good condition with unique agerelated patina and beew wax finish.

This is a stunning examle of the best Danish design.
These elegant dining chairs with their delicate asian inspired back rest are so wonderful to look and just as comfortable to sit on.
The chairs have been made using solid Brazilian rosewood, Banned in 1978, which has aged showing a rich amount of grain.
The seats are all upholstered in the original black leather which has a wonderful patina and hardly any signs of age/ wear.
The matching table which extends using 2 addtional leaves, stored in a seperate tray under the table top, is equally made of Brazilian rosewood with has a very long and intensly rippled grain.
The table has unique age related patina and has been looked after extreemly well showing only tiny signs of age / wear.
The table legs can be removed from the top for transport.

This table is among one of the best looked after that I have seen for a long time.
The table and both leaves do not have a single mark on them, which is down to the previous owner.
The leaves come in seperate cloth bags for storage!
This elegant table seats 6 comfortably before extending it. The pedistal legs spilt apart to support each end and once the 2 leaves are fitted this table seats 10-12 comfortably.
The rosewood on this table has an amazing finish and rich patina that it needs to be seen. The table is 100% perfect with no marks or signs of age apart from minimal colour difference between the leaves and the main table top.

This elegant dining table has a high polish finish with a good colour of the rosewood. The table seats 6 comfortably before it is extended.
The leaves can be used independantly of each other so you can extend the to seat either 8 or 10 when both in use.
The table is in fair condition with some fading to the rosewood in direct relation to the age. The 2 leaves have unfortunatly been scratched but this can be corrected by a french polisher.

The table extends from a compact small 2/4 seat to an impressive 8/10 seat.
The table is made of rosewood veneer which has an amazing colour and grain. The leaves are slightly darker as they have not been exposed to sunlight as often as the table and drop leaves.
The drop leaves can be unhooked if you want to store them away.
The table stands on tapering legs which can be unbolted from the frame for transport.

This elegant and extreemly well made dining table extends with no less that 3 additional leaves.
1 leaf has the matching plinth attached so you can have this one in the table at all times and it will appear as and oval table.
In addition there are 2 more leaves, which are party leaves with no plinth, that extend this table to seat 10 comfortably. Once the table is fully extended a integrated leg can be folded down to support the long span and to stop the table sagging in the middle.

Small drop leaf dining table which can extend to 8" 6inch.
Excellent little drop leaf table with 2 additional leaves extending the table from a small 2 seat or 4 4 with the drop leaves removed.
Once fully extended with both leaves in the middle and both drop leaves up the table will comfortably seat 10 people.
The table has been cleaned and reoiled and has unique age related patina. The drop leaves and extra leves are slightly darker as I beleive they have not been used much with the table and stored away from daylight.
The table can be dismantled for transport if so needed.

Solid Ash drop leaf table with 4 Mogensen J39 chairs

Solid ash dining table with 2 large drop leaves which extend the table from 4 seat to 10.
The table is very simple and stylish with a near white finish which has been achieved by washing the table with as soap high in coconut oil.
The drop leaves are hung from the frame and once lifted are supported by pull outs from within the table itself.
To match this table are 4 oak chairs treated similarly with coconut oil. The chairs have a white seat pad in fabric which covers the papercord woven seat.
Each chair is in perfect condition with unique age related patina to the papercord.
Thse chairs were designed by Børge Mogensen for Kvist Møbler and are known as "the peoples chair" Model J39.

The frame and legs of the table is oak to contrast the teak surface and each leg has a lighter "slipper" at the base.
The table extends and has runners made of solid beech for strength. A central support legs drop down once fully extended so the middle of the table does not sag.
When fully extended the table can sit approximatley 12 people.
The teak dining table is in excellent condition with age related patina and has been carefully restored to it's original oiled finish. All the leaves are finished so you can opt to not to use a table cloth when all the leaves are in use.

Rare solid teak dining table/ side table Hvidt & Mølgaard

Stunning drop leaf table which can be used as side table. Designed 1956 for France & son by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard, Model 20/59
This elegant table has designed to be functional even when not in use as a dining table. When it is folded down the table top is only 17 inch across but at 64 inch long it becomes a sidetable.
Crucially the printed catalogue height of the table was wrong by 5 inches and the table sold very few!
The actual height is indeed 28½ inch / 73cm
The table legs unique design sees the end pair of loop legs splay out to support the halfmoon shaped sides and turning the table in to a large oval dining table.
The table seats comfortable 6 but could with the right chairs seat 8.
The table is in immaculate condition and has a warm rich patina acheived only by age. The table top is entirey made of solid teak timber and has shamfered edges which enhance and show off the end grain of the timber.
The table is marked with France & son metal label and stamped with gold lettering.
