PLEASE ENQUIRE ABOUT PRICE
This larger version of the table was only made by special order. In 1959 Bodil Kjær worked in Boston and here she made the first sketches for the functionalistic writing desk and a seria of additive units. Already during the developement she recieved her first order from Polaroid Corporation and soon more orders came up. Especially the table got a lot of attention from the media, among others "The New York Times", and "The Sunday Times"; the table became even more exposed as it was part of the set in some of the first James Bond movies: "To Russia with love" and "You only live twice". Later the table was even used during BBC's covering of the national elections. In the 1960's the table was manufactured by E. Pedersen and Son and among the buyers were actor Michael Caine, jazzpianist Oscar Petterson, the politician Clement Freud, the financier Evelyn Rothschild and Prince Philip. The table was also delivered to more government officials in the EU headquarters in Brussels. Literature: Mobilia 1961
